"You were my son"...Mike Wright You & I sure enjoyed going hunting together, didn't we? We even worked on the roads, and made bon fires for the family. My Mother-in-laws ghost stories she told on our hayrack rides, scared the daylights out of me. She was Norma's way to and from work for years... you see. Mike, I want you to be there for Connie all you can. You were a great son-in-law...a darned good man. Connie loved me so much that I don't think she'll ever understand. She was a perfect daughter! The best in the land. She was always there to lend her Mother & I a helping hand. I'm doing pretty good here in heaven so far. Tell Brandon he doesn't have to be black to be a famous football star. Don't ever change Mike. I loved you the way you are. Our nephew Bobby Phillips was Carthage's football star. I felt so sorry for you when you lost your Father at age 17. Sometimes life can be so mean. When I lost my Mother it hurt so bad I wanted to scream. Norma & I still like our ice cream. I remember going to the sale barn and getting jumped from behind. We worked that "JACK ASS" over, we had a hell of a time. That'll teach him a lesson to not jump people from behind. He should have left me alone and paid me no mind. You were always there for me Mike, you were a one of a kind. You & I sure did have alot of fun! You weren't my son-in-law..."YOU WERE MY SON" Love, Don & Norma Doyle xoxo 10/18/06 07/12/05 Poem by: Marge Hillgartner Don & Norma's Niece
